OUR HISTORY

Introduction:
For over 70 years, Galli Rodolfo e Figli has been a symbol of quality and reliability in the metal recovery and recycling industry. Our long history and continuous innovation allow us to offer tailored solutions to meet the specific needs of our clients, while always maintaining a strong commitment to sustainability and excellence.

Our History:
The Galli family’s metal recovery business has deep roots dating back to the 1920s, when Luigi “Bimbo” Galli founded a small artisanal company specializing in the recovery of scrap metals and textile products. Initially, the business handled a wide variety of materials without a specific focus on steel recycling.

In the 1950s, Rodolfo Galli took over the company and decided to shift its focus toward steel recovery and processing. This marked a turning point, transforming the business into a family enterprise with a clear mission and vision. Rodolfo, together with his wife Consolata, worked tirelessly to build a strong reputation based on quality and reliability.

The 1970s:
In 1979, the company became Galli Rodolfo e Figli S.r.l. and moved to its current location in Bosisio Parini. This transition allowed the company to expand and modernize its facilities, adopting advanced technologies for metal recovery and processing.

The 1990s:
In 1992, after the passing of Rodolfo Galli, his sons Gianluigi and Claudio took over the business. Under their leadership, the company experienced significant growth in volume and strengthened its role in the carbon steel recovery market across Northern Italy. This era was marked by substantial expansion and a stronger market presence.

The Early 2000s:
At the start of the 2000s, the company shifted its focus more toward the stainless steel sector. This strategic move enabled Galli Rodolfo e Figli to further diversify its offerings and enter new markets, both domestically and internationally. The company invested in new technologies and processes to improve the efficiency and quality of recovered materials, all while maintaining a strong commitment to environmental sustainability.

The Last Decade:
Over the past ten years, the company has seen a gradual transition of management to Rodolfo’s grandchildren, bringing fresh energy and vision. This period has been marked by a boom in internationalization, with significant expansion into global markets. Through a targeted strategy and investments in cutting-edge technologies, the company has solidified its position as a global leader in metal recovery and processing.

US TODAY

Today, Galli Rodolfo e Figli is a pioneering company in the metal recovery and recycling industry, with a long track record of success and innovation. Our mission is to ensure high-quality recovery, providing fully renewed materials while staying true to our core values of quality, sustainability, and reliability.

OUR VALUES

Quality: We use advanced technologies to ensure that recovered materials are of the highest quality and ready for reuse.

Sustainability: We reduce environmental impact and reliance on non-renewable resources through efficient recycling practices.

Reliability: We offer customized services to meet the specific needs of our clients, with multi-level quality control and personalized deliveries.

We take care about our planet

LEnvironmental protection is the core aspect of our activity. We recover metal to reintegrate production waste into the manufacturing cycle, creating new raw materials, with the hope that using scrap will reduce the extraction of new minerals and help safeguard the environment.

At the same time, we complement our recovery plant with a green area of over 15,000 m³, serving as a green lung between the industrial area and the residential village. Since 2012, we have powered our machinery entirely with electricity, partly generated from renewable sources.

Finally, to protect the environment, we have implemented all the necessary measures for rainwater recovery and to prevent the spillage of polluting substances, conducting regular analyses to monitor the water and emissions released into the environment.
